How to Pass the CWH Police Exam
What is the CWH Police Exam?
The CWH entry-level police exams were originally developed by CWH Research and are now owned by the testing company IOS. The version most often found today is the CWH-NGLE (Next Generation Law Enforcement Exam.) This exam combines a basic cognitive ability measure of your Reading and Writing skills with Situational Judgment Tests (SJT) that measure traits like integrity, interpersonal skills, emotional stability, etc.
Job applicants should be aware that there were two versions of the original CWH exam. The legacy version is CWH-SSLE, “ Selection Solutions for Law Enforcement.” It includes math. The newer version is the CWH-NGLE (Next Generation Law Enforcement Exam) and does NOT include math. Otherwise the exams are the same.
