Kentucky Police Exams
Most law enforcement agencies in Kentucky use the LESI for their entry-level exam. The Kentucky Law Enforcement Council has relied upon the (LESI) Law Enforcement Selection Inventory for many years. The cognitive test topics are math, reading and grammar, plus an in-depth Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI).
Some agencies give a short oral interview early in the selection process that asks about how you would react to certain situations. A good course for how to handle these questions is Mastering the Police Interview by Sgt. Godoy.
The Kentucky State Trooper written exam covers a much broader range of test topics and candidates need to prepare using PoliceExam911.
Applicants still need to double check when they apply to confirm this. Click on the exam link below to learn how best to prepare.
Don’t overlook Federal law enforcement job opportunities.
