What is the Stanards & Associates Police Written Exam?
The Stanards Police Exam is the NPOST?
Stanard & Associates, Inc. (not to be confused with the word "standard") is a company that provides entry-level and promotional testing for police departments, fire departments, county sheriff’s departments and correctional facilities. The Stanards Police Exam is titled the National Police Officer Selection Test (NPOST). Be aware, NPOST is a commercial product name - it is not a national standard for police testing. Sounds like a tongue twister - “The Stanards police test is not the only standard police test.”
Learn what questions are on the NPOST entry-level police exam and what the top-rated NPOST test prep course is.

Is the NPOST Hard?
Yes, the NPOST is challenging for most applicants. Most of us are rusty on our test-taking skills for these subjects. Applicants need to prepare using a strong, up-to-date prep course like Sgt. Godoy’s NPOST QuikPrep.
